  • Crafting & Creating

    Funded Mar 20, 2019

Thank you so much for your donations! We have been using our new materials and resources in kindergarten! We have been using the mirrors and new crayons to work on our self portraits during social studies! We have been using our building materials during choice time to help with fine motor skills as well as social skills! We have been using the letters to practice our letter/sounds during choice time as well!

When the students first saw the boxes and the new materials, they were so excited and thankful! Their faces lit up and they couldn't believe all the stuff was for them. They were so appreciative as well.

Our classroom is a bright, fun place where students love to learn and take risks. You have helped add to this and create an environment rich with materials.”

    With gratitude,

    Ms. Robbins

  • Big Hearts Help Shape Little Minds

    Funded Feb 10, 2017

We could not thank you enough for your generous donations and continued support of our classroom. This school year has been met with many challenges around all the craziness in the world right now and it is such an incredible feeling knowing that we have the support of all our family, friends and donors. Thanks to your donations our students have been able to take part in more project based learning this year, teaching them invaluable social and emotional skills on top of the academic content. Students have been busy playing collaborative games to practice working together, sharing, and reaching a common goal as a team. They have been using their creativity to build using the magnatiles, marbles, and kinetic sand. All of your donations have helped enhance the project based learning in our classroom as well.

When the boxes were delivered to the classroom, the students were so excited. They were in awe that people wanted to give them materials and gifts to help them learn and grow. They are so appreciative and loved every minute of it.

Thank you again for your generosity!

    Best,

    Ms. Robbins and Mrs. Pond”

  • Little Hands, Big Hearts, Even Bigger Minds

    Funded Aug 25, 2016

Thank you so much for your donations. The students have been busy using all the new materials in the classroom. We have been using our black table bins to store all of our supplies including pencils, crayons, pens, worksheets and sight word rings on our tables. It keeps everything organized for us and makes it easier to have access to materials. We have been using all of the art materials including the crayons and paint to do projects in the classroom and with our families! The pocket chart has been so useful to sort different things thinking about phonics and syllables!

When they first got the materials, the students were ecstatic and in awe. They loved receiving the materials and opening them to see what was inside. Our students are curious learners and love to create projects as well as learn! We are currently learning about nonfiction and will use the art materials to turn our classroom into the tundra to present to the other classes!

We appreciate all that you do for us and for contributing to the success of our students.”

    With gratitude,

    Ms. Robbins

  • Learning is FUNdamental!

    Funded Aug 23, 2015

We cannot even begin to express how truly thankful we are for your donations! Our students' home lives often do not provide them with the means to find the fun in learning and they depend on school to be a fun, warm, engaging and safe place to learn and grow. You have truly helped impact their development. Your donations have inspired our students to learn how to read and write, play and create, and make lasting friendships so far this school year. Our students are engaged during word work because of the many fun and engaging activities we were able to purchase through this donation. Many of our students have been able to sustain attention longer during class instruction because of the cushions and sensory tools that were purchased. Lastly, all of our students have been able to write, color, draw and create through the donation of the pencil sharpener, crayons and white board markers. These materials continuously put smiles on their faces as they increase their understanding of a concept or help them achieve an academic goal (big or small. These things are what keep our passion for teaching alive. Thank you for your continued support of our classroom. We cannot wait to continue to see the growth of our students in 2016! ”

    With gratitude,

    Ms. Robbins

  • We Love Learning!

    Funded Mar 16, 2015

Thank you so much for your generous donation to our students and classroom. We cannot thank you enough and express how much of an impact your donation made for the students. The looks on the students' faces were priceless when they saw the new materials, games, and resources. They were so excited and couldn't wait to use everything.

Our students used the materials to help master the English language through phonics games. They used art supplies to create projects and express themselves in many different ways. They used the special education tools, such as noise reducing head phones and weighted lap pads, to help them remain calm and comfortable in the classroom as well as allowed them to have the school tools they needed to complete their work and feel more successful.

Many of our students do not have the money to provide supplies for the classroom, or even have art supplies at home. Students were able to continue to learn phonics and English through the games and play. The tools helped our special education students get the support they need in our classroom and we are so thankful. ”

    With gratitude,

    Ms. Robbins

  • New School Year, New Needs!

    Funded Sep 11, 2014

We just wanted to say thank you so much again for your donations to our classroom. Our students loved all the supplies, materials, and games we received. The students were so excited and couldn't wait to try out their new things.

We use the crayons, markers, and paper to get our writing pieces ready to publish, we also use them for various art projects that our first graders love! The sign holders have been a great asset to our classroom. We take pictures of our big charts and shrink them down to put them in the sign holders on each table for the student to refer to. Our phonics games have been a big help for center time during word work. We use them to practice what we are doing in word work!

All of these donations helped boost our students' learning by introducing fun materials to work with. They got the students excited to learn. Many of our families come from low-income households, these new materials and games made the students feel special. They also allowed us to continue to enrich the students' lives by doing artwork, and other activities to enhance the learning in our classroom. Thank you again!

    Best,

    Ms. Robbins and Ms. Abrahams”
