As their teacher, I want to make sure I provide the best education I can to these students, which is why I’m participating in training for the researched-based program, Wilson Reading System. As stated on WilsonLanguage.com their mission is to “provide quality professional learning and ongoing support so that educators have the skills and tools they need to help their students become fluent, independent readers, who are ready to explore the endless possibilities the world of reading has to offer.” I’m requesting support to purchase the necessary materials in order to implement a research-based reading intervention physically in school or remotely. Please know by donating to this project, you will bring the gift of literacy to some of the most amazing in-coming third-graders. You will also ensure that their remote learning is targeting their specific needs to continue their reading growth.
