Children learn best through active exploration. The use of STEM materials will help my students foster ingenuity and creativity; which will lead to new ideas and innovations. These STEAM activities will encourage communication, teamwork questioning and problem solving. Students will learn how to plan, create, and modify. Most importantly, they will understand that mistakes are an important part of the learning process and gives us the opportunity improve. STEM activities help teachers foster the love of learning and builds confidence in our young leaners. These activities are another way to engage and support the variety of learning styles represented in a classroom.
