• Financial Literacy Through Community Projects

  Thank you very much for your generous support. My students are truly excited about the presentation materials that will allow them to showcase their impressive projects. This DonorsChoose project has also facilitated significant learning and growth as students engaged with the new materials. They are eager to share their experiences, including how they budget for each project and how they save and reuse resources to minimize waste. In our EAST program, which stands for Education Accelerated by Service and Technology, we manage multiple projects simultaneously, encouraging students to collaborate as a team to see these projects to completion. Your donation will enable the students to create the display they designed for the upcoming convention and enhance their learning experience through the use of new materials.”

• Real-World Applications + Materials = Advancement in Education

  I would like to express my sincere appreciation for your continued generosity and support of our EAST room. The students work diligently and benefit greatly from the materials provided through your donations. We are particularly enthusiastic about the Cricket Press Machine, which will be instrumental for the students in creating and producing shirts and other items for their clients for many years to come.

  Additionally, we are looking forward to utilizing the trifold business paper. The students will use this paper to convey our design and share the story of EAST at Nettleton STEAM, which offers numerous learning opportunities and fosters teamwork. • STEM + October = Build Your Own Monster

  Funded Sep 8, 2024

  The students at our school were thrilled to participate in the project "STEM + October = Build Your Own Monster." As a STEAM school, we encourage innovative thinking among our students, and this project provided an excellent opportunity for creativity in October. Thanks to your generous donation, I was able to fulfill my vision for 202 students in Pre-K through 2nd grade. Each student received a kit containing materials to create their own monster. Some classes even challenged themselves to see how many unique monsters they could design. One student proudly shared that they created six different monsters. This project effectively fostered creative thinking in an enjoyable way. Thank you for your generosity and for giving our students the chance to express their creativity while having fun.”

During our EAST program, it is essential to have a designated planning space for students to collaborate on their project ideas and strategies. It not only defines the area for group activities but also fosters a more professional atmosphere for planning. My students are creative thinkers who thrive on challenges within their teams. • EAST Students Equals Service Stars in Our Community

  "EAST Students Equals Service Stars in Our Community" was a remarkable and highly successful service and learning initiative that our students participated in thanks to your generous support and donations. Each grade level contributed to this effort to assist Touch-A-Truck in raising funds for Hope Circle. Our kindergarten students designed and created stickers, the first grade developed a counting coloring book, and the second grade designed and produced buttons. This event provided an excellent learning opportunity for our students. I am truly grateful for your support in funding this project.”

• Caring + Inspiration= Positive Mindset and Outcomes

  My students will be well cared for and loved with the inspiration and caring packs I am able to make for their first conference ever. I added notebooks to go with the care packs. Also our word of the month for March is "Yet". I loaned the books on the power of Yet to our counselor so this grant is going to reach a whole school. Thank you for giving and being apart our EAST Family. The smiles on the kids faces are priceless and there is no words to describe how happy you have made them and myself. Thank you for allowing me to give the best for my students. Without your support it would not happen. I cannot wait to see how many kids this grant will reach. Again, thank you so much! • Financial Literacy Books + Organization + Materials= A Winning Design

  First let me start my impact letter by saying THANK YOU!!!! The supplies have been a game changer in the students getting to use their artistic design with their projects in EAST. They utilize the wipe off board daily to organize and design their projects. I possibly cannot imagine not having it. When it came in I wanted the kids to see the design of the instructions and they helped put it together. Every minute in EAST is a fun learning moment. The organization supplies have be come so valuable to teach organization and help keep the kids projects sorted. The filament to the 3D printer has come in so handy. It allows for more expansion in their design.

  Where to begin? I will begin with a BIG "THANK YOU!" The Impact this project has had and is having is unmeasurable. The students are learning such amazing lessons about technology with starting it with a book. The kids have references back to each book and connected the books together, which is not only helping with technology lessons, but with reading. The books have led into amazing discussions and helped the students at a k-2 level truly understand the concept. I look forward to reading the books and reaching more students. This project far exceeded my expectations. Thank you for supporting my students and the students in our school. I am truly blessed.”

  Where to begin? I will begin with a BIG "THANK YOU!" The Impact this project has had is unmeasurable. The kleenex, pencil sharpeners, storage sets, surge protector, stapler, paper, glue, magnetic dots, and tack-It Over and Over supplies have helped so much. I have not had to ask my student to bring items. They don't have to worry about not having the correct supply for a project, but it is provided through your generosity. I never want students to have to worry about supplies. I want them to be able to focus on their learning. You have allowed me to achieve this goal. Thank you for supporting my students and the students in our school. I am truly blessed.”
