My students are eager to learn, but keeping their attention can be difficult. Let's face it, I'm not a video game that can keep their attention. They love learning new things and being able to experience true learning. In fact, my favorite part of teaching is seeing that light bulb come on for all students. They are all very capable of success and learning. We are in a high poverty area. The school is a great school, that I actually went to as a child. It is a school where the majority of the students are free and reduced lunch. I would love for my students to have as much access to technology as possible!
