Math It Up
Funded Mar 27, 2018I can't thank you enough for your generous donation to our project. Your donation has greatly impacted my students learning. Now we can use the projector to project activities for my students to complete and can connect it to my computer to bring great learning opportunities to my students. What is most exciting for my students is that they can see images being projected with color and can also complete hands on learning using the projector and the white board.
Technology is a great addition to teaching today's children and I will continue to make use of the projector to ensure my students are getting a great education. Some of my students love when we use our projector that they ask if we will use it to do mathematics. They love learning and doing hands-on activities that stimulates their minds.
Together, we will make a difference in the lives of these students. I appreciate your donation and Thank You from the bottom of my heart. My students appreciate your generosity and thank you for allowing them to use technology in the classroom to understand and gain knowledge to be successful.”
With gratitude,
Mr. Leal

Funded Oct 17, 2017I would like to begin by thanking you for your donation on behalf of my students and myself. I am happy to see that there are still people like you who believe in what we do and what our students can accomplish. Many times, we do not have the necessary tools to be able to provide more for our students and it is nice to have donors like you.
Your donation for our class project of expo markers has been a huge success. We use our expo markers every day in math class. We use them when the students go up to the board to complete problems given to them and even at their desk when they use their individual white boards. My students were really happy when our donation arrived and we open the boxes in class. They were thrilled to be able to practice their math not only on the big white boards in class but also use the individual white boards for any other math they needed to practice.
The next step for my class and I is to continue to use our resources in large group and small group projects. Also to allow them to continue to use the expo markers and white boards whenever they have individual work at their desk. Once again, I thank you for your generous donation and may we continue to make a difference in the student's future.”

Mr. Leal

Funded Oct 17, 2017I would first like to thank you for your kind donation to our classroom. Your donation has helped us greatly inside the classroom. The children are now able to learn though a hands on approach. My students were excited when I told them that great people like you donated to this project. They were excited that we would be able to make the necessary copies for them to learn concepts doing hands on activities at their desk.
Technology is helping our students more and more each year because it provides us the opportunity to learn in many interesting ways instead of just reading how to solve problems in books. We can now teach students different ways to solve math problems using different technology and manipulative's we can get our hands on.
I have many students who learn a lot better when they are doing activities at their desk. This donation has given them the opportunity to be hands on learners. I again thank you from the bottom of my heart for your donation and my students as well send you a big Thank You. Thank you for believing in what we do and can continue to provide these students with a better opportunity for their future.”
With gratitude,
Mr. Leal

Funded Oct 24, 2017I just want to take the time to Thank You for your generosity. My students are using the white boards in class every day to work out their problems. They also use them in small group to help one another understand the steps necessary to solve the problems given to them. We also use them to review the day before our test. The students use them to solve problems I give them and they then work out the problem and show their results in class. My students were thrilled when I opened the box and they saw that because of your donation we were able to to use the white boards in class individually and not have to go up to the board all the time.
My next step is to continue using the white boards in small groups to help students understand the concepts being taught and to have them work in groups with the white boards to help one another. I again thank you from the bottom of my heart for your kind gesture and for helping my students become successful in life.”

Learning to Use Our Resources Effectively.
Funded Feb 21, 2013I would like to thank you on behalf of my students and I for your great generosity. The laptop you have donated to my classroom has helped my students engage themselves in their education each day. We have used the laptop for many objectives such as researching, learning math concepts, and viewing videos related to our science topics. This laptop is being used by all levels of students at this grade level for every subject matter taught to them.
Our school tries to provide our students with good resources, but has fallen short of the budget to purchase additional computers in the classroom. Your donation has allowed my students to have an additional computer in the classroom where they can use it to access any information they need or just touch up on some math concepts they may be struggling in. Without donors like you, our students would not have valuable resources they need in order to make their learning enjoyable. Thank you once again from the bottom of my heart.”

This classroom project was brought to life by Disney.Learning Through Reading
Funded Jan 7, 2010This letter is just a small token of my appreciation and gratitude for your generous donation to my classroom. The novels you have purchased for my classroom have given my students opportunities to learn a little about the history of 1943, during the Danish resistance. We have used them to learn new words, the history, and to write our own thoughts about certain topics discussed within the story.
My students are thrilled to have books they can read without having pages missing or torn. Our school currently is in a short budget, so without your help my students would have not had the opportunity to study an important part of history. They have enjoyed every minute we spent reading this book, and have had many questions about this time period in history which is a great indication that they were into the book.
Without donors like you, thousands of classrooms in the United States would go without the necessary materials needed for the lessons. Thank you once again and I appreciate what you have done to make a difference in my student's lives.”

Reduce, Reuse, and Recycle
Funded May 19, 2008Wow! We are excited in obtaining our materials to get our project started. My students and I would like to thank you for donating the money and making this project work at our school. We are excited in making this project a huge success at our school. The students are beginning to learn the importance of reducing trash, recycling, and reusing. We hope to start the recycling program at our school and continue it for years. Thank you once again for donating”
