Your wonderful donation to purchase additional STEM manipulatives has been a great addition to our STEM library. The kids and their families have been having fun playing at home and using their engineering skills to build ramps, buildings, towers, and much more. We've added questions to each kit that parents can ask their kids as they are playing to further enhance their educational opportunity.
So many of our families are extremely grateful to have access to these STEM kits with educational toys that they would not otherwise be able to provide to their children and are eager to check out new kits.”
Their dream is to become mechanical engineers. Your donation has greatly boosted our team's confidence in being successful in robotic competitions. By having competitive technology similar to the students from bigger cities, our team has one less hurdle to overcome.
Our students are resourceful and find ways to make it work with what they have and with this new laptop to run their robot you have relieved some of their stress! The team competed in the state competition and came home with an award for all of their hard work! We look forward to the 2024-2025 season.”
With your generous donation we have been able to establish a STEM manipulatives lending library where the STEM tubs are checked out and taken home by our students and their families. The kids are always so excited when they come to pick out a new tub to take home. The kids' parents are extremely grateful to our program to have the opportunity to provide these educational toys for their kids which they wouldn't be able to afford themselves. Students are excited to go home and play and we are excited for them to use their imagination and develop engineering skills at home!”

Thank you for donating to our hygiene kits project. With your donation we were able to establish a pantry of hygiene items for the families of our migrant students. Winter time is when many of our families don't have a lot of work and thus lose a lot of income. These hygiene products pantry was a blessing to many of our families and students who needed a helping hand during the slow work season. So many of our students were excited to get their own shampoo and body wash! ALL of our families have been extremely grateful for the help you provided to them.”

We are beyond grateful for your donation that made purchasing these Chromebooks for our migrant students possible. With these Chromebook we have established a lending library where parents can commit to using these Chromebooks at home for educational purposes such as iReady lessons and homework help. We are able to monitor the students' use through teacher access and make sure they are using them appropriately. This new Chromebook lending library has been met with great demand that now we need more!
All this was made possible because of your generosity. Thank you!”

Thank you for your wonderful and generous donation that enabled us to buy all of these amazing board games. My elementary migrant students and their families have had some amazing family nights learning how to play the games along with their parents. These families have learned that strategy in games is a valued skill that can be carried over into schoolwork.
There was laughter and fun and the energy that was had during the family nights was electric! The best part of the family nights was when the students got to choose a board game to take home. The joy in the students' eyes made all of the hard work and planning for these family nights worth it.”

My kindergarten students were so excited when we received our shoe tying package. Their desire to be independent and show how they are big kids is immense. Learning to tie your shoes is the best feeling in the world! These students are so motivated and never give up. Any free moment they have, they pull out their little practice shoes and sing our shoelace song. Their motivation is inspiring. Half our class has learned to tie their shoes and the cheer on their classmates. They help them and motivate them to not give up. My students are amazing and I am sure by kindergarten promotion all of them will be able to tie their shoes!”

My kindergarten students and I were so excited when we saw our box with mittens, hats, and ear warmers. The cold weather is here and our class is more than prepared! Students received a set of hats, scarves, and mittens to take home and a set of ear warmers and mittens to keep at school in case they forgot theirs at home.
Our kindergarten students are learning responsibility with their winter gear by learning to bring it to school and take it home each day. Without your generosity my students would not feel prepared for the cold weather and have the ability to practice responsibility.
We appreciate you!”

My kindergarten students and I were so excited to receive the books that you funded! These books go along with our social emotional curriculum and even more exciting is that they are here in our classroom and not just a story that we listen to.
After I read a book that goes with our social skill of the month, I put the book in our classroom library for students to have access to and read with their own hands. With these books we have learned about empathy, responsibility, respect, gratitude, and many more social skills. Without your support we would not have these wonderful books. Thank you!”

My kindergarten students were super excited when they saw our new art supplies. They couldn't believe they each got to take a set of cool twisty crayons home to practice what we have been learning in school! With our learn to draw workbooks, we have practiced drawing dogs, cats, pigs, dinosaurs, and so much more. The confidence that I see in my students when it is writing time has greatly increased over the course of these intentional drawing lessons. They look forward to writing time so they can use their cool crayons and new skills to the test!”
Imagine your first school experience as a kindergarten student happening during a pandemic! That is what our kindergarten students will be experiencing this year along with starting kindergarten online.
Using a mouse pad on a Chromebook is something we take for granted but for a 5 year old's tiny little fingers, the hand eye coordination to make that little arrow move is a monumental task! By providing my students with a physical mouse that their tiny hands can move you are helping me eliminate one more obstacle in my students' education.
We appreciate you!
