By purchasing Ukuleles, I would be able to spice up my music program which would reach approximately 70 students (two classrooms). Ukuleles would be used to teach chording, but most importantly, to teach vocal music simultaneously. As a classroom teacher who specializes in music, I see the spark that music creates within the lives of students. They are eager to come to school, try harder, and it creates a sense of family within our classroom. By introducing a new instrument into the curriculum, I hope to instill a passion for the stringed instruments. I also look forward to learning alongside the children and make great music along the way.

About my class
