"Am I Speaking Your Love Language..."
Funded Dec 30, 2018I wish you could have seen the smiles my student's families walked out of our classroom with today! Today was the launch of our class book study based off of "The Five Love Languages For Children," by Gary Chapman. The parents dived into rich conversation immediately because the book is based around a topic that touches the heart of all these families which is their children. The book also has a fun assessment the families were able to take today to figure out which love language their child speaks and how to be better equipped in filling their love tanks. We also spoke about various ways to show children love through their love language, what happens when children's love tanks are not overflowing, various ways families discipline at home in order to follow through with expectations and much of this sparked memories for each parent regarding their own childhood and how they wanted their children to succeed past them.
Thank you so much donor for your contribution to helping me connect with my families outside of just academic teaching.”
With gratitude,
Mrs. Samuel
Reading Time Fun Space
Funded Dec 20, 2018Wow is all we can say!
Your generous donation has been a major addition to our classroom where we are able to use a variety of writing tools to get our ideas down on paper and whiteboards.
The array of crayons, pencils and erasable markers are helping our creative juices flow in writing.
Also, our new added addition of the reading tepee is also helping our reading come alive as we get to snuggle in and let our imagination run wild.
This donation got funded at just the right timing as we started the new 2019 year and came back into our classroom ready to use our new and refreshed materials.
Thank you once again!”
With gratitude,
Mrs. Samuel

Funded Aug 23, 2018This was the first week of school and my student's favorite center has been the reading center all because they saw the colorful and soft reading mats you donated to our classroom library!
These reading mats are also the just right size in which we can fit multiple mats all around the classroom if students would like to change their reading spot. I have seen children cozy up with a book in various spots in our classroom which puts a BIG smile on my face to know they are having fun while enhancing their reading.
You are truly appreciated and I want you to understand the impact you have made within just the first week. THANK YOU!”
With gratitude,
Mrs. Samuel
