My students are the most awesome group of fifth grade students ever! We attend school in a rural community in Idaho. I love my student's diversity. Many of them show up wearing cowboy boots and cowboy hats, while an equal number show up in the latest tween fashions. They make every day different and interesting. I am a passionate reader and it is one of my greatest hopes to inspire this in my students as well. Teaching in a lower income school district limits the financial resources we have available to purchase additional items to enhance and support our literacy curriculum.
