    Thank you for helping us get the books in our students' hands. These books have been a huge addition to the classroom and library so they can engage and recall the story.

    The students have been able to use these books to watch and engage during reading time. These books have been a great addition to our library. They can see the pictures, interact with their peers, and recall the story by using the pictures. These are familiar stories for the preschoolers, so they have been eager to learn. I am excited to use the books throughout the year and continue to see growth.”

  • Big Books Are the Best

    Thank you so much for helping the clasroom and students get the books they need to continue to learn and grow. With these specific books, the students have been engaged and ready to learn. When students use books they are familiar with, they are able to answer questions and dive deep into learning.

  • Cancel All That Noise So I Can Work

    The headphone and other resources are helping the students self regulate and and calm during the noise and chaos that can occur in the calssroom. The students are able to wear the headphones or use the sensory supports throughout the school day when they feel themselves becoming elevated. Many of these resources are great visual reminders for students on what they can do to self regulate their bodies.

    The students are becoming more independent in the classroom while learning how to use a coping tool to help them regulate and then get back to the learning and with peers.”

    The new equipment tools have been utilized and already making a difference. Our season has not quite began, but I already see growth with the students as they are practicing indoors. This practice is only going to make us better when we get into the field and play. The students will be able to to this basic movement and learning into the field and be competitive with the others around them.

  • Technology to Help Me Learn and Grow

    Oh how we needed technology to help us complete tasks and learn. The technoogy are allowing us to communicate through virtual links, learn from others around the community or world, and providing us an opportunity to learng technology skills.

    These technology skills will be used with the students in the future to help them problem solve and be indepedent as they get older.

    The technology has provided us with a ton of new ways to learn and grow this school year, have meetings with others that cannot be in person, and show what we are learning and how we are growing.”

  • Show and Share With My Peers

    Adding something so simple into learning has made such a huge difference. These show and share bags are being paired with their specific language and communication learning. The students are loving the ability to show something with their teachers and peers and then they share one or many words about the items.

    This is teaching the students turn taking, listening, and speaking skills. The students are also learning how to describe words and the meaning of words deeper than just saying what an object is.”

  • Stepping Up to Communicate

These visuals are helping the students see what they need to help them communicate in longer sentences and using more words. The steppers are a great visual for the students to be reminded on what they need to have in a complete sentence and a great way for the students to use their whole body to learn.

    The steppers are also interactive and engaging to the students because they get to manipulate and use their large muscles to learn and play.

Over 650 students currently qualify for the free/reduced price lunch program. We have a free lunch program in the summer, backpacks for students to have food on the weekends and long breaks, fresh fruits and vegetables for a snack throughout the day, and free food pantries every month for our students' families. Our students are hard workers who enjoy coming to school and need assisstance with getting high interest, engaging materials in their hands.

About my class
