  • Personal Care

    Funded Oct 31, 2019

Thank you for donating to our project. With this donation, we are able to teach girls about being independent and knowledgable about their self-care needs.

This grant will help promote independence and give our girls confidence to grow and learn. With this grant, they are able to worry less about resources and more about learning when in the classroom!

The students will be able to not have the burden of providing basic care needs and show what they know in the classroom. Undo stress does not allow the girls to perform at their best. This grant breaks down those barriers and stressors and allow girls to be independent and knowledgable.

Thank you for your generous donation and seeing a need outside of the classroom to help students.”

    With gratitude,

    Ms. Lamb

  • Books for Beginners

    Funded Oct 24, 2019

Thank you for your donation. The books are going to be a great addition to our classrooms to help with pre literacy skills. Our students are the youngest of learners. We will provide students with print concepts, picture support, and environmental print support through the books in this grant.

Teachers are going to be able to add these books to their library to allow children to have a much more diverse opportunity to learn reading and literacy skills. I am excited to watch the students have these resources available and grow throughout this school year.

Thank you again for seeing a need in our classroom and helping out!”

    With gratitude,

    Ms. Lamb

  • Organized Case Conference Meetings

    Funded Sep 12, 2019

This project means that we are going to be organized for case conferences. All of the student's individualized plans can be color coded and filled away for access when needed. The documents used in the conferences can be color coded for ease of use for all parents and case conference staff members.

I am excited to have a coffee bar set up for parents to help with making some of the biggest educational decision they have to make so early on in their child's educational career.

This grant will help parents, staff, and conferences run smoothly and stay organized.

    Thank you for donating!”

  • Inviting Conferences

    Funded Aug 16, 2019

Thank you for donating to help support our youngest of learners during the case conferences. The parents, staff, and students are working hard together to ensure that we all create the best supporting goals and plan for each individual student. During these conferences, having the ability to offer snacks help ease the parents and show the parents we are willing to do what is needed to help support their child.

Thank you for your generous donation. You are truly making a difference everyday for my students.”

  • Seating for Students With Special Needs

    Funded Aug 13, 2019

Thank you for donating to help support our youngest of learners. The students need many adaptive tools and seats to help support their needs for everyday functional tasks. The donation that you provided helped our student access their environment like other peers.

The wobble cushions help our students stay focused and engaged while learning and access the curriculum in a whole group setting. The adaptive play toys help our students learn fine motor skills to learn ways to be independent when they grow older. These skills are being used everyday and taught by the staff to help ensure all students are able to access the environment.

Thank you for your generous donation. You are truly making a difference everyday for my students.”

  • Listening with Headphones

    Funded Mar 26, 2019

The gift of allowing my students to listen to grade level passages as well as stay in the classroom to listen and work is bigger than any amount! Because of your donation, my students are now given the opportunity to stay in the class with their peers and participate with all discussions because they are able to listen to the grade level passages and work.

Many students struggle with reading on grade level, but are eager to participate and interact with their peers. By giving them the opportunity to use headphones in the classroom, allows this exact experience for them. They are also able to engage in higher level thinking and learning by having access to these passages and grade level work.

When walking in to the classroom today, all of the students smiled because they new they got headphones! All students immediately took the headphones and couldn't wait to try them out. Students were able to listen to books at their levels, books at grade level, while staying in the classroom with no interruptions.

Thank you from the bottom of my heart for helping give my students a simple, yet effective way to stay in class and be with their peers. They are able to interact and talk with their peers about the same reading and work as well! Thank you for your generous donation! It is already working!!”

    With gratitude,

    Ms. Lamb

  • Hula Hooping for Happiness

    Funded Feb 27, 2019

First, we want to thank you for your donation to our grant. The students are going to be able to use the hula hoops and skip it toys to enjoy getting active and healthy. While using the hula hoops and skip it toys, the students are learning how to work as a team to achieve different goals within their groups they are working with.

Some students are not willing to be active everyday. By using these resources, students are showing me that they can be active and healthy while having fun. The students are learning life lessons about always moving, but in a fun way. This is allowing the students to want to be active and want to participate.

We are setting goals with being healthy and active, and the students are shocked about knowing that play is being active and can help them reach their goals.

Thank you again for your donation and making this grant a success! All ages are having fun and showing how to be active and healthy!”

  • Running Short on Basic Supplies

    Funded Feb 9, 2019

I wanted to first thank you for your generous donation towards our supplies for the classroom. We are going to be able to implement the folders, pencils, binder clips and pens immediately into our reading groups to make the students become better engaged and organized. Seeing the work on a chart, using markers or pens to write, and helping our students stay organized is key to their success. You will even notice we write on the desks to help them learn and understand in new ways.

I cannot wait to show the students their new folders and supplies. It will be like Christmas again. The students are eager to learn and are willing to work hard when the correct things are in place. With this donation, many students are going to be able to stay organized, know where their supplies are, and look back at their work from the past to see how much they have grown.

The next steps are to keep the students organized with the folders and think of new creative ways to use the supplies everyday in the class.

Thank you again for your donation. The students are going to be elated when they see that they have pens to do their work!”

    With gratitude,

    Ms. Lamb
