  • Preschool Ninjas

    Funded Nov 23, 2020

Thank you for helping us get our grant funded! These books are so great with teaching social-emotional learning skills to our youngest of learners. These books pair great with our SEL lessons and curriculum.

These books are used by all teachers in the building for the many different lessons we teach our students throughout the year.

These books are read during remote learning instruction and in-person instruction. We will be creating activities to go along with these books for the students to see the learning in progress.

Thank you for giving and support our students!”

    With gratitude,

    Ms. Lamb

  • Umbrella Strollers-Not Just for Rainy Days

    Funded Nov 19, 2020

Thank you! These strollers help our students with physical disabilities get on and off the school bus and in and out of the building. These strollers can be used as a mobility device to go long distances as well.

This allows students to attend our preschool and participate with their peers. By giving these strollers to our families and students, this allows accessibility for all students in our buildings.

Thank you for supporting us! With these strollers we are able to provide more opportunities for our students to attend and participate like non-disabled peers!”

  • Just Mercy-Just for Teachers

    Funded Sep 5, 2020

Thank you for supporting this grant. I love to read all different kinds of books and I am excited to read this book with multiple teachers. As a teacher, I want to engage and learn as much as possible all the time. This book is going to be used for professional development for our teachers. I am excited to use this book as a 'book club' for our teachers and help with learning more about justice!

Knowing that this book has been highly recommended by many different groups of people and award winning excites us to read and learn. Working in a school district that has a high poverty rate and much diversity, I believe this book is going to be perfect for us to learn from different points of views.

While learning as adults through this book, we are able to use this knowledge within the classrooms and help students. Using this book alongside social-emotional learning will help support students and help with learning. Through this book, I am excited to see the difference it can make!”

  • Supplies on the Go

    Funded Nov 19, 2020

Thank your for your donation! With these supplies, we will be able to provide students with the opportunities to work from home or in school. These supplies will help supplement the already amazing lessons our teachers are creating.

These are coming at the perfect time. We just moved to remote leaning due to COVID-19 and must have our students work from home. These supplies are going to replenish their supplies and allow them to have resources while working online with the teachers.

These supplies are going to help the individual needs for our students with cutting, coloring, pasting, and creating!

    Thank you for giving!”

  • Cube Chairs for Wiggly Bodies

    Funded Nov 20, 2020

Thank you for helping support this project. The students need resources like these cube chairs to help them sit and attend to tasks. Many students love these chairs so much, they will do any task to have the ability to sit it one.

These chairs will be used throughout the school building to help all students. At this time, students are able to use the chairs we have, but with the needs increasing these chairs will help support students that need it now!

Thank you for supporting us! We are excited to see the students faces when they see they get more chairs to choose from!”

  • Safety With Sanitizer

    Funded Nov 18, 2020

Thank you so much for supporting us. At this time, all of these supplies are needed more than you can imagine. Our COVID-19 numbers are increasing, our students and staff have to implement more safety precautions, and we need to stay as sanitized as possible while with our youngest of learners. Thank you for seeing a need that is above and beyond the classroom supplies need during these trying times.

This will soon pass and we will all get through it together because of generous donors like yourself!”

  • Books for Beginners

    Funded Nov 20, 2020

Thank you so much for donating to this grant! We are teaching our students about social-emotional learning and are excited to pair it with literature.

We will be able to use these books to help support the learning in the classroom, expose them to more literature in their early learning days, and help supplement the already amazing lessons we are teaching.

The students are able to work in small groups and one on one with a book that they enjoy and learn alongside others and with the teacher about social-emotional skills. These books are highly engaging to the students because the characters are of interest to them.

Thank you for seeing the need and supporting out students!”

  • Cancelling the Noise

    Funded Nov 19, 2020

Thank you for supporting us! We are able to use these noise cancelling head phones with our youngest of learners. These headphones allow our students to join in on convocations, loud activities, and safely leave the building in case of an emergency.

Some students are very sensitive to loud noises and are unable to attend to an event due to the anxiety it may cause on them. They anticipate these noises and cannot focus on the event or what needs to be done. These noise cancelling headphones allows them to participate with less worry and focus on staying safe.

Something so small has such a huge impact on our students daily living!

    Thanks for giving!”

  • Compression Is Like a Hug

    Funded Nov 19, 2020

Thank you so much for supporting us. Our students use these compression vest to help them feel less stressed, calm and relax, and give them the ability to sit and attend to tasks. Our students are able to use these vests during a 15 minutes activity that they may require more support. By using these compression vests, it allows the students the ability to feel their body in space and attend to tasks more easily and be more engaged with their classroom teachers.

At this time, our students are feeling the changes due to COVID-19 and need our support more than ever.

    Thank you for giving!”

  • Chewy, Chewy, Chewy

    Funded Nov 18, 2020

Thank you for helping support our students. Especially at this time, our children need more support with sensory processing. They are feeling anxious and stressed with the changes and transitions due to COVID-19.

We are able to use these individual resources with our students on a daily basis to help them regulate their sensory input.

We are so grateful for people that choose to help support our classrooms, especially when it is something different than supplies! Thank you for seeing a need and helping support our youngest of learners.”
