• Teaching With Technology

  There are many benefits of technology in the classroom. Technology makes students more engaged and helps them retain information, it accommodates multiple learning styles, encourages collaboration, provides instant feedback for teachers and prepares students for the future.

• Learning with Technology

  Thank you for bringing technology into the classroom! We have many online programs to help students learn. The iPads are being used for reading and math. Our online program for reading is Amplify which is an individualized program to help students with their phonemic awareness, reading fluency and comprehension. The iPads will also be used for our online individualized math program called i-Ready. The students are so excited to learn in new ways and can individually access these programs. Thank you for supporting our education and changing the lives of our young children.”

• First Grade Needs Mini iPads to Develop Technology Skills

  My first graders are loving the iPad! They are so excited to see who gets the iPad for the day. When I'm choosing a student they all cross their fingers and close their eyes in hopes of being the chosen one for the iPad that day. Right now we are focusing on reading. The iPad helps us work on reading techniques and comprehension strategies. The students love to listen to books on the iPad which help them with their reading fluency. Some of their favorite iPad books are Tacky, Fancy Nancy, and the Berenstain Bears.”

• First Grade Needs Mini iPads

  Thank you so much for the generous gift of a mini ipad. My first grade students couldn't be more happier and excited to learn. When the ipad arrived in the mail they couldn't believe it. Their little precious faces just lite up with excitement when we opened the package and saw it. We have been using it for reading, phonics, math, social studies and science. Thank you for sparking their interest in learning new things. For some, this is their first experience with an ipad and you help change their education.”

• First Grade Wants Mini iPads

  The students were so excited to receive their iPad. Their faces just lit up when it came in the mail and we opened it. They couldn't believe that they were actually going to use it in the classroom.

  We are using it in so many ways. We take turns using the iPad. When it is their turn they get the iPad for the entire day. Instead of doing paper and pencil activities they get to do all subjects on the iPad. The students use the iPad for writing, reading, math, science and social studies. We have lots of exciting apps for all subject areas. The apps are also leveled to accommodate every child's needs

  The students are always so thrilled when it is their special day. The iPads bring a new excited into the classroom for learning.”
