This school year, I will be teaching 5/6 grade Language Arts. My students come from a high poverty city. Technology is something that is not always available to them, in and outside of school. These 5th and 6th grade students come to school with questions, ideas and the desire to learn. My classes are composed of diverse populations. My students come to school with their own individual needs, interests and experiences. Each day they are encourage to question, explore and create new learning. My students are at a variety of learning levels, both high and low. With the use of technology, all students will have the opportunity to work at their level and grow as learners.
