• Flamingo Dollars Earned Equals Shopping Time

  I cannot express my gratitude for your support toward my project that helps fulfill items in our classroom store. Students love the variety of items that I have stocked, thanks to your donations. Students earn "Flamingo Bucks"for participating in class, volunteering to read, answering questions, and using their manners. It also works as a good incentive for students who miss a lot of school. Students can shop every two weeks. Without your donations to our classroom store, the shelves would be empty. My classes appreciate your generosity.”

• Flexible Seating for the Win

  Flexible seating has been a complete game-changer for my classroom. I started off the year with regular chairs and through donations was able to obtain funding to supply multiple arrangements of flexible seating. The students absolutely love the seating choices and are eager to select their seats for the day. I cannot thank you enough for allowing me to introduce a new concept into my classroom. As a teacher, I am always looking for ways to improve upon my teaching, and allowing flexible seating has helped students stay on task while learning new concepts in math.”

• Classroom Token Economy Promotes Positive Behavior

  I cannot express how much this project means to my students. They love earning Flamingo dollars by participating in class, completing assignments, the entire class in attendance, etc. They love all of the donations that this project provided. Students take turns getting jobs and get paid weekly for doing their jobs. It is funny how certain classes favor one item compared to another class that favors a different item. Without your generosity, I would not be able to have a class store or I would have a store but it would have limited availability. Thank you again for helping to fund this project.”

• iPad for Math Problems

  First, I would like to thank you for your donation toward purchasing the iPad. This device has made a considerable impact on my classroom. As the teacher, instead of standing at the board to teach new math concepts, I have the flexibility to walk around the room while teaching the lesson of the day. This allows all students the opportunity to see the board without me having to move from side to side. I always felt like I was blocking someone's view of the board when I taught. This donation allows me the opportunity to write on the iPad which then projects what I wrote on the board for all students to view.

• WANTED: Wobbly Chairs for Wiggly Students

  Thank you so much for the donations toward my project that provide flexible seating for the students within my classes. Students absolutely love the wobbly chairs and get so excited when it is their turn to use them. Students from other classrooms often tell me that they wish they were in my class so they could sit in one of the flexible seating options. Your donation helped transform my classroom into an environment where students are able to move around while learning new material. Thank you so much for making a difference in my classroom.”

• Mission to be Accomplished = Obtain Wobbly Chairs and Headphones

  Thank you so much for contributing to the project entitled "Mission to be Accomplished-To Obtain Wobble Chairs". Students sit in hard chairs all-day and deserve the opportunity to seat in flexible seating. Your donations take this project from a possibility and make it a reality. The students love the flexible seating and cannot wait to enter the classroom to sit in the wobbly chairs. The wobbly chairs allow students to move but still be able to focus on the assignments at hand.

  Words cannot explain how thankful I am that you chose this project to help fund. This project will help stock the shelves of the classroom store. Students earn Flamingo bucks by volunteering to answer questions, reading aloud, using their manners, etc. The Gatorade and chips were a big hit along with the Gushers and Rice Krispie treats. I deeply appreciate the thoughtfulness behind the donations. The students love playing educational games and escape rooms. They are always asking when they can do another activity. • Printer Problems No More

  I cannot thank you enough for the impact you make by donating to classrooms around the country. I am so thankful I found donors post projects that will benefit the students which I teach.

  Your generosity has provided a classroom printer for my classroom. The printer allows students and me to print in color which helps students, especially those with disabilities. I am even sharing the printer with other fifth-grade teachers.

  The project also provided cardstock for my classroom. I utilize this for classroom centers which the students enjoy completing.

• Everything But the Kitchen Sink

  I just want to tell you how thoughtful and kind you must be to fully fund this project. The title of the project, Everything but the Kitchen Sink, allowed for me to select materials that are needed in a classroom on a daily bases. The scrapbook cart will be a great tool to store math centers in while exploring through the curriculum. The poly envelopes, card, stock, laminator pouches, clothes pins will allow for me to create centers to utilize throughout the school year.
