  • Amazing Readers Need Amazing Books

    Funded Jan 24, 2025

Thank you so much for supporting our classroom and my student's love of reading. They were beyond excited as our new books starting showing up. I loved seeing them get excited to read and they started a little wait list for each of the new books and were anxious for their turn. Even my hesitant readers got caught up in the excitement and found some new series they liked. I love that several of them got so wrapped up in reading their new books they came and asked to borrow them for the night and promised they would finish the book and bring it back tomorrow. You can't help but love the excitement for books. Their favorite was of course the new DogMan book but they were equally as excited for several of the other books and that made me so happy!

Thanks again for helping provide this for my students.”

  • Math Here We Come!

    Funded Jan 31, 2022

Thank you so much for your support of our classroom! The kids have been so excited for all the new things we got to add to our class.

The iPad has been so much fun, because now I can put them on individual activities practicing their math skills while the rest of us do something else. It's also been nice to have it and the apple pencil so that I can display worksheets we are doing on the board and then show them the work as we do it, or we can correct and I can write on the worksheets on my iPad.

The magna tiles are by far their favorite resource, they love building things and using their STEM skills to create different things for different scenarios.

Thanks so much for your continued support of education!”

    With gratitude,

    Ms. Wintle

  • New, Exciting, Chapter Books to Engage My Reluctant Readers

    Funded Oct 21, 2021

Thank you so much for helping our class get these books! The kids were so excited to have some new books that they've been wanting! I love that they are anxiously asking each other when they will be done with it so that they can read it next! It's also been great because I've watched them fall in love with a book and then continue to read the entire series. Some of my kids who I have a really hard time getting to read have now read half the series already from a 12 book series.

Another exciting thing that has happened since these books showed up is their sudden love for the I Survived series. They have been so excited about the different events in history that they are reading about and they are asking lots of questions and we are doing research based on the books!

We are so grateful for your donations and for our new fun books! Thanks for supporting our class and reading!”

  • Wrapping Up Our Math Facts!

    Funded Oct 31, 2018

My students love these! We use these in centers and for practice before we take our fact mastery tests. They give them something different to use for practice then flash cards which get monotonous and boring. These are not only engaging but fun, plus it's an added bonus that they can easily self correct and see which facts they need to still practice. Before these came I encouraged my kids to practice their facts with flash cards when they would finish their work and had spare time but would rarely see them picking that as an option. However, not that they can use these instead of flash cards I see them practicing their facts when they are done with their work a lot more. So thank you so much for your generous donation to help out my classroom!”

  • Wrapping With Multiplication!

    Funded Oct 19, 2017

We are loving our multiplication wrap ups! They are such a fun and quick way to practice our multiplication facts.

The students were so excited to open the box and see what was inside and they couldn't wait to start using them. As a teacher it brings me great joy to see them practicing their multiplication facts and enjoying it when they finish their work. They also love to turn on the 'wrap' song during math tap and do their wrap ups with the music as a class.

These resources have truly made our math time so much more enjoyable and have really helped my students master their facts. I truly appreciate your commitment to education!”

  • Fluency Builders

    Funded Mar 9, 2016

    Dear Donors,

Thank you so much for your generosity! It has made such a difference in my classroom already! The fluency practice cards you helped purchase allow my students to be able to practice on their own level which is not only far more beneficial for them but also gives them the confidence and self esteem boost they need to grow as strong readers. They also allow me to quickly differentiate my fluency instruction in fun ways and to partner students quickly without hours of planning. My students love fluency practice now. These cards have also given me a baseline for progress monitoring my students on the reading level they're at instead of just on grade level so I can show parents the actual growth they are making.

More than the fluency cards though are the readers theaters play scripts which my students absolutely love and can't wait to practice over and over and then perform for one another. I can already see their fluency skills and confidence growing thanks to hear wonderful resources.

I appreciate your help and commitment to education!”

  • Building Comprehension Skills

    Funded Mar 18, 2013

Thank you so much for the wonderful reading resources! My students were so excited to have new stories and activities to take home with them each night in their reading bags. They love having a variety of things to choose from and this helped fulfill that need.

Thanks to your wonderful donations the parents of my students now have something to give them a little more guidance on how to help their children with their reading and comprehension at home.

Although we only got to use them a short while before the end of the year this year I am excited to be able to start right away with them next year and further my students growth in reading fluency and comprehension.”

  • Guided Reading Library

    Funded Dec 14, 2011

Thank you for the wonderful books! They have made such a difference in

my classroom! The students love having fun and exciting books to take

home each night to read and better yet a wider selection of books. All

of my students have been able to improve their reading level by at least

one grade level this year and I know a huge part of that is that they

are reading books on their level at home every night. It has also been

so helpful for them to have a choice of nonfiction books as well. As

many of these kids don't have resources at home it is wonderful for them

to be able to improve their reading and learn about different topics as

well. Thanks again for all you do for our children.”
