  • Echoes of Learning: Amplifying Math in Nature

    Funded Oct 11, 2023

Thank you for purchasing these rock-shaped speakers for our school.

They have been used at evening fundraising events hosted by the PTA on the school grounds, for example Costume Evening in October and Winter Wonderland in December. Since our school is in South Florida, we are able to hold events like these in outdoor venues: the rock-shaped speakers are tailor-made for occasions like these.

We have also used them in the sensory garden, a space in the center of our campus created especially for our ESE students. We have used them to play calming music, birdsong etc. That fascinates the children.

    We do appreciate your generosity!”

    With gratitude,

    Ms. Marcos

  • Equal Access To Middle School Math.

    Funded Jan 31, 2023

I want to express my sincere gratitude to our generous donors for your laptop donation. Thanks to your contribution to "Equal Access to Middle School Math", my students were able to complete the Zip Line STEAM Project!! Your gift made a major impact and because of you, it was possible for students to research, create 3-D graphs, and Power Point presentations. Their presentations were excellent, they were very proud of their work and I was also amazed with the 3-D graphs they created.

Your generosity gave these students the resources and support needed to be successful in their project while learning a real-life math application.”

    With gratitude,

    Ms. Marcos

  • Individualized Math Lessons - Nice, If You Can Hear Them!

    Funded Nov 28, 2016

Thank you so much for purchasing these headphones. They arrived a few days ago and we started using them immediately. They were very useful! Our school is conducting district-wide online Math assessments, and every one of my classes had to take those tests this week. You need headphones to take the assessment, and there are always a few students with missing or

defective headphones - so your donation was a great help! The headphones are fold-able but tough, and the sound quality is very good. The students are really pleased with them!”

    With gratitude,

    Ms. Marcos

" Our school is in Florida. It does not have a lot of money. Our parents come from a different country. There are not that many jobs in the U.S. Our parents work in a job where they don't get a lot of money." In fact, our school is in South Florida. Most of our students come from non-affluent backgrounds. Most are working hard to learn English.
