Kindergarten students need learning environments which will provide opportunities for them to move freely and be comfortable while learning. Traditional desks and chairs are too constricting and take up too much of the learning environment. They need space to roll, sit, skip, hop and lie down. The IKEA Flysta cases would provide space for their personal belongings and they would also be able use the top as a work and play space. The sofa would allow students to sit or lie down as they work. The clip boards and the soft cushions would allow students to be more mobile and access even more areas of the classroom. These items would enable them to have freedom to be in a comfortable learning environment and provide more opportunities for movement in the classroom.
