Thank you for making this project possible. It takes people like you and donors choose to make young students successful. Without the support this could not be possible. I means so much from a teacher to get help with making a successful child achieve. My students were so excited when we received our box from donors choose. • Books are Fun

    Funded Dec 31, 2024

Thank you for supporting our classroom and helping us get the supplies we need to help children grow. My students were so excited to see the materials as they come in. I let them help me unpack each box and explore each book. They are so excited to be able to sit down and read these in their centers. A book is more than just simple a thousand words! A book is packed with imagination and possibilities. These books will help my children read everyday and keep them entertained with content that they are actually intersected in. There is such a wide variety of books and activities that will keep their little brains thinking.”

    Mrs. Breland

  • Not At School? What will I Do?

    Funded Nov 21, 2024

Thank you for supporting donors choose and my project. My students were able to get wonderful activities to do at home while over the Christmas break. I am so very thankful for your generosity and compassion towards my students. They mean the world to me and I push to make sure every minute counts. Thank you for helping me keep them achieving goals even when they're not at school.. it is so very important. They keep routines in place to help them learn and succeed.”

  • Books are Magical!

    Funded Oct 6, 2024

Thank you for sponsoring our project. I am so excited to take these books and read them to my students throughout the school year. They will get many skills from listening to these books, such as rhyming sounds and compound words. Colorful, and entertaining for my students. I have a few of the llama llama books now and they enjoy them so much. I am so excited to be able to add to our llama llama library. My students ask me to read them over and over again. When we opened our boxes with the new books in them, my students could not wait for me to read them one. Thank you for helping me provide them with a love for reading.”

    Funded May 8, 2024

Thank you for supporting our donors choose project. I am so excited to teach the children about the lifecycle of a flower. We will use these flower pots to plant seeds and watch them grow for the students to enjoy and admire. The children will not only get to admire the wonderful flowers that they grow, but they will also get to use this experience as a science project. After they have planted seeds and grow the flowers, they will take home the flowerpots that they painted and give them to their mothers for Mother's Day! What a way to teach a lesson and also show their mom how much they love them!”

  • Help Me Sanitize My Classroom!

    Funded Jan 11, 2024

Keeping a Classroom clean and germ free is essential to student health. Teachers must provide many ways to keep a student from getting sick and passing germs. I teach small children, so therefore, we are always cleaning our classroom, wiping down materials and keeping the room germ free. During this cold season, we are using more cleaning supplies than normal. This project is helping me to keep our students healthy. I would like to sincerely say thank you for helping me keep my children in school so that they can learn and grow. This project is helping me keep them from getting sick just by being in the classroom.”

Most of my children live in a low income household which do not have computers in the home. They are extremely eager to learn and ask many questions when I tell them about my life experiences. I would love to be able to provide them with the experience of a computer. Just think of how they would feel if given the opportunity to set in front of a computer and research a topic of their choice. My students thirst for knowledge and would use a computer and printer daily.
