I am starting my tenth year teaching mathematics in my hometown of Philadelphia at C.W. Henry School. One of the best aspects of my job is witnessing the "aha" moment. So many student come in to my math class feeling defeated or anxious about math. It is so rewarding when my students make the connection and realize how easy math can be. I teach a wonderful group of students from all across the city. As a graduate of Philadelphia's own Central High School in it means so much to me to give back to students who share my experiences in such a great city.

About my class
