20 students are signed up for my Harry Potter Friday club and they are BEYOND excited to get started. Most of these kids have seen the movies on TV and they can't wait to try out potions, spells, and sorting hats! But these novels helped me discover a life-long passion for reading in my childhood and that is what I hope to achieve with these kids. None of my students have ever read these books and many do not have personal books at home at all. What an incredible gift to start their very own personal library – the complete Harry Potter series. Please consider helping me create life-long readers through the magic of Harry Potter.
