    Thank you so much for your generous donation. I teach Computer Science in the Bronx to about four hundred students. Many of them could not afford to purchase their own headphones for school. As they developed their programming skills this school year, my students were thrilled to have headphones to use in class.

    In my class, students spent a great deal of time coding on Scratch. One of their favorite things to code are sounds. Imagine a class of thirty students all playing different sounds on their computers at the same time. It was a bit chaotic, and students had difficulty focusing. These headphones helped solve this problem.

    The headphones also help me differentiate my instruction. Sometimes, struggling students need to rewatch a video or tutorial. The headphones allow them to do so without interrupting the other students.
