Rock and Roll Snowman!
Funded Dec 2, 2024What a fun time we had this concert season! Our rock and roll snowman was a huge hit! The costume that you helped us to purchase made this concert finale a showstopper! All students had so much fun singing about the rock and roll snowman, and the students who got to wear the concert dazzled us with their rockin' moves!
The other materials - the bandanas and the scarves also happed to add a little razzle dazzle into the performance. I love that all of these materials can be used over and over again, for years to come. Thank you so much for your generosity!”

Music We Can See and Hear
Funded Oct 9, 2024Thank you so much for your generous donation to our classroom! The resources you have helped us get have already been put to use. Adorning our classroom are the new posters, as you can see from the pictures. Many of the books have already been used in multiple grades, and the students love the songs that they share, and love the updated stories and illustrations. The Rock and Roll Snowman sheet music and recording are a favorite for the students to practice in advance of their upcoming concert. They are so excited to perform it!
Your kindness has really made a difference in our classroom.”

Music for the Community
Funded Oct 8, 2023Thank you so much for supporting this project! Thanks to your generosity, my students were able to put on a fantastic community concert that featured a grand finale of the entire fifth grade performing a kickball bouncing routine that really showed off their musical skills!
Not only did your donation to my classroom provide resources for an awesome community concert, but these kickballs will now be incorporated in my music curriculum. I have found it to be a great way to engage students in learning rhythms kinesthetically, and to help make learning active and fun!”

Funded Apr 25, 2023Thanks to your generosity, my students had an amazing performance, filled with joy, musicality, and inclusivity. All of the materials that you helped purchase made a big difference. The students (and the audience) were so thrilled by the repertoire choices, the streamers, and the hats. They all had so much fun bringing these ideas to life.
Not only did your contribution have an impact on this group of students, they will be reused in the coming years. Countless students will benefit from your generosity.”

Music in Many Ways
Funded Nov 29, 2022Thank you so, so much for funding this project! Throughout this school year, the resources you have provided have been used time and time again, in many different ways!
We had so much fun with the "snowballs" that you provided. They were used for many games over the course of the year. They made music class more interactive for all! The bingo chips and craft sticks were amazing tools that helped my students "write" rhythms in a new and exciting way. The fidgets, the streamers, everything else - what a gift you gave to my students!
I can't wait to see what new ways we can continue using these materials in the future.”

Funded Mar 2, 2020Thank you so much for these awesome resources! In the weeks before remote learning began, my students and I were able to take advantage of many of the great materials you provided. We have already delved into many of the books. We have learned learned some new songs. I've learned some new strategies for helping my students become better musicians. While we are undergoing remote learning, I've been able to take some time to really read and study the methodology introduced in these materials, and I'm so excited to share more of this with my students!”

Funded Sep 15, 2019These new materials have transformed my classroom for my youngest students! Each class begins with ten minutes of centers time. There, students explore song sequencing, build notes out of play-doh, learn rhythms with LEGOs, and more! It is such an exciting and interactive way for my students to start the class.
We'll continue to use these materials throughout the year, and for years to come. Your kindness and generosity have helped to make this project a reality, and my students and I are so grateful!”

Funded Feb 28, 2019Thank you so much for helping us to purchase our new speaker! It's awesome! Most of the time, the new speaker is housed in my classroom, where I've been able to get rid of my bulky, old, broken speakers. The sound is great. We can connect with iTunes, Youtube, websites, and anything else - and we can hear with great clarity and quality.
One of my favorite parts of the speaker, though, is its portability. It goes everywhere everywhere - to the auditorium for performances, outside for field day and dance parties, and to another classroom if there's a last minute schedule change. It's light and wireless and fits our needs perfectly!
Your generosity is so appreciated, and will continue to be appreciated as we use the speaker for years to come.”

Funded Aug 23, 2018I am so thankful for your support of my classroom. Thanks to you, my students have had an incredible time with their new enrichment program.
Just a few of the activities that were included in the curricula and that we already explored include:
-many science of sound experiments (cup and string telephones, tuning fork fun, hanger bells, jumping rice)
-sound walks (students listening and observing the world around them)
-Mary Poppins explorations (students have become experts in character analysis, jobs in musical theater, and they've even performed some of the music they've learned
These programs are vibrant and exciting, and it's all due to your generosity.”

Funded Jan 4, 2018Thank you so much for the beautiful glockenspiel! It is such a wonderful addition to our classroom instrument collection. My students absolutely love playing it. It sounds great and is easy for all of my students to play. It has gotten so much use already, and will continue to be used for countless years to come.
When the glockenspiel arrived, my students noticed it immediately. They were so excited to try it out. It made them feel so special - to know that someone completely unknown to them cared enough to donate this instrument to our classroom.
I can't wait to incorporate this glockenspiel into more classroom lessons. Your generosity is so appreciated.”

Ms. Mason
