The 476 students at this school arrive eager to learn. Last year, they checked out over 36,000 books. This year, they have enjoyed the new language arts curriculum called LEAD21. They particularly love the inquiry based assignments that ask them to research scientific and social questions. As a non-title school, funds are very limited. Fundraising, when spread over twenty classrooms, is very limited.
