Thank you so much for giving my students these wonderful resources. My students have been using the glue, astro paper, and crayons to create wonderful projects. Our latest project was writing thank you letters to one of our school counselors.
Your donation has given my students an equal opportunity at much needed tools that they can use in the classroom. It also takes a lot of the pressure off parents, that are overwhelmed with other matters. Thank you once again, for the wonderful resources that my students will happily use throughout the year.”
Thank you so much for your support. These books are a great addition to our independent reading book baggies. These new leveled books will help my ELL students choose books that are just right according to their reading levels.
These books are not only leveled text, but the topics are of great interest to my students. They enjoy reading all about animals. During independent reading time, my ELL students have the opportunity to read and enjoy books that interest them.
Once, again thank you so much for your generous support. These books will bring hours of reading enjoyment to my ELL students.”
Thank you so much for generous support. The use of a smartboard in my classroom is key to my instruction, and my students learning. I am able to use this laptop to access and present instructional materials to my students on the smart board. I use the laptop along with my document camera to present activities that are both interesting, educational, and engaging for my students. Thank you once again, for supporting me and my students with much needed technology during these challenging times in education.”

These books are being used during our restorative circle time. These books have made it easier for my students to talk about how they're feeling. They are learning how to work through feelings, such as being sad, anxiety, and stress. My students enjoy revisiting the books over and over. They love looking at the pictures and talking with their reading partners about the characters and how they're feeling. They share their feelings with each other and discuss what they can do to feel better. Thank you so much for supporting my students. These books are loved by many of my students.”

Thank you all for your wonderful generosity. It has been a great support having a document camera to use during our Reading and Writing Workshops. I read books to my students everyday, but sometimes a book is too small for a read aloud. Your wonderful donation allows me to read any book no matter how small. The ability to project on the Smartboard screen the smallest of books is huge, especially for my English Language Learners.
My students love taking turns reading a pattern book or our poem of the week to the class, while the rest of the students join in. My students also love it when I use the document camera during science.Today we were looking at our radish seeds that we planted last week. One of my students suggested I put one of the cups under the document camera. Imagine how excited they became when they saw the seeds have started to sprout. Having a document camera has been a wonderful tool that is helping to foster a community of life long learners in Class 119. Thank you for your support.”

Thank you very much for funding our proposal. We can't wait to write to the children that were victims of hurricane Katrina. We know how much they need these materials.
K-1 is a class of 18 students, 10 of which are ELLs. Being an ELL in an English dominant classroom can be difficult. However, the use of visuals can support these difficulties and give students a better understanding of content. Though visuals are used throughout the lesson, often times resources are limited. The use of an overhead projector would be beneficial as it allows the teacher the share with the whole group and everyone has access to this resource. An overhead projector would also be beneficial during read-a-louds. Placing the book on the overhead projector would allow students to have access to both the illustration and the text.
