Krafty Kids
Funded Nov 6, 2019Thank you so much for the generous wonderful donations. your kindness and generosity has always been greatly appreciated. The students' faces were priceless when we were unpacking the boxes. When they saw all the different types of craft supplies they started thinking of different ways we could use them in the classroom. they are most excited to use them in our upcoming project of building a snow globe. The glitter will really make their projects come to life for them and their families. The students are so grateful and excited to make all of our crafts this year using these supplies!”

My students love to express their learning through art. The easels and canvass make them feel like they are professional artists! We will now be able to conduct some great art history lessons! Also the students will have time to do some creative art work! The vivid colors will enhance their art work and get them excited to create! We are so thankful for your contributions to our classroom!”

Perfect Piano
Funded May 18, 2016I would like to take this opportunity to personally thank you for your generous donation of the baby grand Suzuki piano! Your donation has given the students of our school the opportunity to expand their talents in our different performing arts programs. A well rounded education is much more than paper, books, and pencils ! All children deserve the opportunity to become musically enriched. At Public School 8 the love of the performing arts is seen every day through out the school and within all of our students. Our school offers many different opportunities for all students to express and showcase their different talents. With many thanks your donation, we will be able to expand and offer even more new and exciting experiences for our students because we believe that all students deserve a chance in the spotlight!”

Classroom Library !
Funded Dec 16, 2015Thank you so much for your generous contribution to my classroom! The leveled library has given so many opportunities to my students. The students truly enjoyed having new books to increase their knowledge.
"The more that you read, the more things you will know. The more that you learn, the more places you'll go." - This quote truly describes how important reading is to both me and my students. Having many special needs children in my classroom, they need access to many different leveled books. You have granted them the opportunity to have books that they can read on their own independent level and to help their reading level grow!”
