  • Helping Children Get Organized

    Funded Sep 10, 2024

Thank you again for your generosity in funding my projects.

My students now have clear containers and labels for their classroom supplies. They can easily see the supplies that they will be using and be independent in meeting their needs. It makes me so proud when I see them taking the items off the shelves when they need them. They are also becoming responsible in purring things back where they belong.

The children are also learning to identify letters and words using these containers. Each container is labeled with a picture and word. This is increasing their letter identification and reading skills dramatically.

I wish you a very Happy and Healthy New Year.”

    With gratitude,

    Ms. Beirne

  • Stamping To Success!

    Funded May 31, 2024

Thank you for your generous donation to my class and classroom.

The students are enjoying using the stamps and stamp pads that we ordered. They are so happy and proud of their work. I love hearing them tell me what they have created using the stamps.

Several students want to go to the art center each day. They are enjoying being creative and having opportunities to express themselves. My students are especially loving the letter stamps. They like spelling their names and creating letter art.

Again, thank you for your generosity.”

    Funded Feb 18, 2024

Thank you for your generous donations to my class. We are using these paint sticks everyday! When the materials arrived, I the children were so excited. They could not wait to use the paint sticks.

My class enjoys creating beautiful piece of art to hang in our classroom and to bring home to their families. It is wonderful to see how proud the children are of their work!

I see the excitement in their faces when they have an opportunity to go to the art center. They have shown a tremendous amount of growth in creating original pieces of art.”

    Funded Aug 2, 2023

I wanted to take this opportunity to thank you for your generous donations to my classroom. My students love to be creative and your donations have made these projects possible. Each day they are excited to see what projects will be completing.

The smiles that appear on the faces of my students is priceless. They are so proud of their work and are eager to help me hang it up in our classroom. As their teacher, it makes me so happy to provide them opportunities to be creative.

  • Classroom Items Need So Unusable Items Can Retire!

    Funded May 9, 2023

I would like to take this opportunity to thank you for your generous donations to my classroom. The students have greatly benefited from these materials.

My class loves playing with the Kenetic sand. They enjoy making beach scenes and having the sand in their hands. They get excited when the materials come out.

The clipboards and dry erase markers have made their science explorations easier. The children also love using the clipboards and markers to write their grocery store lists in our dramatic play area.

Thank you again for your generosity!”

  • Ice Cold

    Funded Feb 14, 2023

Thank you for your generous donations to my project, Ice Cold. My students loved learning about the importance of water and how it can affect our lives.

The children enjoyed the car wash. They liked taking their cars to get clean. Some students even took cars from home to run them through our car wash. The car wash inspired my students to build their own car wash in our classroom!

The pop up tent was a welcomed addition to our cozy corner. The students enjoyed spending some "chill out" time inside of it. They took in books and puzzles inside the tent.

Finally, the magnetic blocks were a big hit. The children loved building their own ice castles and telling stories with the characters from the set.”

    With gratitude,

    Ms. Beirne

  • We Can Be Anything!

    Funded Nov 29, 2022

I would like to thank you for your generous donations to my project, We Can Be Anything.

When the Amazon boxes arrived, my students could not wait to see what was in them. Each box I opened brought smiles to their faces. They could not wait to play with the items. I immediately set the items up in containers for children to explore.

We will be using these items in our Dramatic Play area. Some of my students have told me that they want to dress up like their moms, dads, grandmas and uncles.

Exploration and self expression are critical to PreK students. You donation will help us be able to do more of this.”

    With gratitude,

  • Building Skills for Our Future

    Funded Aug 9, 2022

Thank you all for your generous donations.

My students are thrilled with the lego building sets. They especially like the emotions sets. We are using these in our Cosy Corner and our play areas.

Each day it a pleasure to see children smiling and sharing materials. They share so easily because they know that they will have another chance to play with the building sets. Having ample supplies makes a difference in a classroom.

They love playing and having their Lego characters act out different scenes and scenarios.”

It has been a wonderful year in Pre K. Students have learned so much. They have grown as leaners and as members of our school community.

Since they have worked so hard, it is important to reward their positive classroom and school behaviors. This is done through class celebrations and individual rewards. Our classroom treasure box is something that the children look forward to every Friday.

  • Music To My Ears

    Funded Mar 6, 2022

Students have been enjoy the instruments each day in our classroom.

We have been using them to help us learn to count. Students play a specific number of beats and the other students have to repeat the same number. This has been helping them with counting and they are able to play additional math games around this activity.

They have also been using the instruments to repeat patterns.

The smiles on their faces is priceless when the instruments come out.

    Thank you for your generosity,

    Ms. Beirne”
