• Headphones for All!

  My class has been so thankful for the bluetooth headphones. They have been able to complete their daily math app work and reading work with the headphone so much easier than in the past when we had corded headphones that broke so easily .

  Students have also been so good at taking care of their headphones and not a single pair has broken so far, which is so impressive! At this time last year the headphones I got for the class were almost all broken.

  We are able to complete work easier, faster and with less distractions because students have working tools they need for their learning. We are so grateful for everyone who helped us get the headphones for our class!”

• STEM Activities!

  Thank you so much for the generous donations of gifts for our STEM activities! My class has been able to have lots of hands on engaging learning happening since we have gotten these tools.

  We have also been so excited to have these activities for indoor recess on all the cold days we have recently had and will have in this long cold winter months.

  Students have also been practicing sharing and learning how to work together when using these tools. This group of students needs lots of practice with sharing materials and working together so this has been great!”

• We All Do Better When We All Do Better-Paul Wellstone

  The document camera has had an amazing impact on my students learning and engagement. There are 23 students in my class this year. Each student no matter where they are sitting is now able to see everything we do clearly since it is projected on the smart board from under the document camera. We do reading, writing and math and use the camera at all times of the day. Everyday we read a book and it is projected on the document camera for the students to read along and see the pictures. This helps keep students engaged because they can see everything that we are doing. We practice our letter name, sound and word wall words under the camera.

  Students love being able to share their work under the document camera and project it big for everyone to see. They work harder and take their time because the know it will be big for everyone to see when it is their turn to share. This has helped create an environment of sharing and learning that was not present before.

  Students know the document camera is a valuable tool in our learning and they are all very excited to have it in their classroom.”
