Wiggle Seats to Help Focus!

I would like to thank you for donating to the wiggle seat project for my classroom. When the students first saw the wiggle seats their faces lit up and some were confused and not sure what they were! Once they saw them put together and figured out what they could use them for they were beyond excited! We had to come up with a plan on how we were going to figure out who gets to use one for the day! I must say they are mature about taking turns.

Some of my students get to use the wiggle seats at their desk. I allow them to move them to any area in the room where they are working. Some students choose to share with another student at certain times during the day. The next day a different group of students get the opportunity to use the seats. Students like to use the wiggle seats while they are working on the computers, at their desks, and during small group time.

I have seen my students focus much better because they are able to move! I am very grateful for your donation to making this flexible seating an option in my classroom!”
