Currently, the majority of the work I like to do in my science classroom involves hands-on lab based science with a heavy integration of literacy, technology, and research. However, I am currently lacking the necessary technology to teach as effective as I possibly can! Having laptops in the classroom would allow students to complete research during their labs and improve their literacy. Furthermore, these laptops will help me improve the education of not only the struggling students and those students who do not speak English, but also the high achieving students as well! In the 21st century students are more engaged on the computer and I have so many wonderful ideas that would only be made better with technology !
