  • Becoming Entrepreneurs Through Creating Hands-On Experiences

    I am truly blessed to have all of you contribute to our cause. The students and learning how to create t-shirts through hands on experience. I always tell my students we are Artisans and we create using our hands and now they get to see this first-hand.

    My students are so excited to create t-shirts to sell in our school. The money will help them have extra curricular activities throughout the school year. They truly took on this project with full enthusiasm and have learned team work through this project.

    We look forward to creating t-shirts for special occasions and can't wait to earn from doing.”

  • Celebrating Flag Day Through Hands-On Experience

    Funded May 13, 2019

    As you can see from the pictures, our students truly enjoyed making our schools t-shirt to celebrate Flag Day. Each student had a job in creating these shirts. On everyone's faces you can see the pride they had in wearing the shirts. We made a video reciting the Pledge of Allegiance wearing the flag t-shirts and wore our t-shirts on our trip to Manhattan via the Staten Island Ferry. Our entire school decided that this project went so well, that we have now created a t-shirt business making t-shirts for special events or occasions. We are extremely grateful and humble to have each of you contribute to such a great cause. Thank you from three very grateful teachers.”

My students love to create hands-on projects! We will be making Flag Day T-shirts. Students will make American Flag iron-on cut-outs using a Cricut Machine. Collaborating with our speech teachers, our goal is to make a video having the students recite the Pledge of Allegiance wearing the American Flag T-shirts they created. Our students will learn about the history of the flag, as well as, create their very own American Flag T-shirt. This project will give our students the opportunity to enhance their knowledge about America's history and give them their very own creation of making an American Flag T-shirt.

About my class
