These iPad minis will be put to amazing use! They will be used daily to reinforce and encourage the core curriculum. The technology world offers so many amazing ways to deepen our understanding. This digital society can take us to places we may not be able to visit like when we study South America. We can hear famous speeches come out of the mouths of leaders like Dr. King. These iPads will take us there. There are so many apps that can help us strengthen our math fluency skills, sight word reading, and even use to research a topic for writer's workshop. The possibilities are endless! The project will appeal to third graders. To be handed an iPad would be so engaging to the students. They would be given the opportunity to interact with the technology of their generation. The iPads will benefit many students to come. There is a wide variety of readers from struggling to advanced and the iPad is just the tool to address all of those needs. I have never had access to technology like I would if I had them in my classroom! Your generosity would make a difference in the way students learn.
