By the end of third grade, my students need to be fluent in their multiplication and division facts. The best way to build their fluency is to practice their facts daily. By providing a set of flash cards to each student for practice at home, I can help them achieve this goal. Math fact fluency refers to a student's ability to recall the multiplication and division facts quickly and accurately. When students achieve fluency in multiplication and division, they are better able to learn and master more complex concepts and skills that are required for more advanced problem-solving in mathematics.
