My students are amazing. I could speak to the socioeconomic status or race or enrollment in special programs in depth but the most important thing to know about them is that they are amazing learners. Teaching kids how they learn and challenging them to heights others see as impossible, is the best way to observe what kind of students they are. My students rise and surpass the challenges I set and are moving towards setting their own challenges. Our school is a title I school with 97.2% on free/reduced lunch. 92.7% are minority. Blah Blah Blah.... You have heard all of this before. This is not the "feel sorry for us" section so I choose to focus on that top paragraph. The top paragraph describes my students. I am more than happy to provide any additional demographic information if you need.
