  • Literacy and Math Small Group Work

    Thank you so much for helping me create small group activities with my first-grade class. My class is on the bigger side so these small group activities are so helpful. I truly appreciate the donations to my class.

    The nuts and bolts activity helps build their number sense. The letter tiles (magnetic) are a wonderful resource to help children that need that visual recognition to help identify letters and sounds.

    Finally, the sensory gadgets are wonderful in the calm-down corner. They were originally at each table but they were a bit distracting and that defeated the purpose.

  • Creating a Book Nook for Comfy, Cozy Reading

    Thank you so much for your generous donations. The cozy book area has made such a difference in the classroom. We are currently doing small group rotations and the children are loving the green rug area, that's what they are calling it. They know it is the cozy book area but they love to go their if they are needing some quiet time as well. They think it is "so cool". I have added some pictures for reference but the way the room feels can't be captured. Thank you again. I really appreciate it!! So do the children.”
