Help ADHD Students Get Focused!
Funded Nov 29, 2016These fidgets have really helped my students get focused so they can do their best. With the fidgets in their hands they are able to listen and participate in lessons for longer stretches of time.
The wobble stools have also made a big difference in the classroom. Students sit on the carpet during lessons. Having an alternative seat on these stools has allowed kids who can't sit still stay on track. They feel more comfortable in the stools and are able to get more done.

Books With Strong Female Characters!
Funded Jan 28, 2017My students have been so inspired by these books. They have been devouring them during independent reading time. Getting to know Sophia Martinez and Katie Woo has really helped my students understand characters feelings, personality and motivation. One student literally jumped for joy when she saw Pinkalicious and Fancy Nancy. And the Lunch Lady books are so funny and action packed, no one can resist them. Series books really help readers grow because once they're hooked on a character they devour all the books in the series. My students are in love with these characters and flying through these books, and becoming stronger readers everyday because of it. Thank you for making that happen!”

Books With Characters of Color for My 2nd Grade Readers!
Funded Oct 1, 2016My readers are THRILLED to have these books. They laugh out loud when they read Katie Woo books. My students feel so connected to this character that she has become like a friend. These books are great for helping them understand characters' feelings, traits and motivation. The Super Diaper Baby books help reluctant readers get excited for reading. They fly through these funny and engaging books. Thank you for your donations, they are making a big difference in the lives of these young readers. These books are helping my students reach their reading goals and become proficient readers and lifelong learners.”

Help My Little Readers Grow with Great Books & Mags!
Funded Sep 14, 2016My students LOVE these books! They are so excited for reading time each day- and these books are a big reason why. They jumped up and down when they saw the Captain Underpants books. They are constantly calling me over to share something in those books that makes them laugh out loud. The National Geographic books have beautiful pictures and interesting facts. My kids are learning so much from these books. These books have made such a difference to these young readers. They are fascinated by what they are learning about the world from the Time magazines- from Olympic champions to advances in robotics. I am so proud of the work they've been doing, and so thankful to you for supporting them!”

A Bright and Organized Classroom!
Funded Sep 14, 2016My students were so excited to arrive and find these bright blue seat pockets waiting for them on each of their chairs! Their eyes lit up when they saw their book baggies and folders inside. They love having more space to do their work without having to worry about bins everywhere.
We have so much more room in the classroom now! We used to have to keep three bins at each table to store our book baggies and other learning tools - and we were all constantly bumping into each other to get around all that stuff. Now, everything is so much neater - and we finally have space to move and grow :)
My students are so excited to be able to store their book baggies and other supplies right on the back of their chairs! They love having this personal space to keep what they need close at hand.
Now these second graders are ready to work on tackling longer books, trickier words and more complex characters. Thank you so much for your support!”
