After twenty years of being a classroom teacher I am embarking on a new and exciting adventure. This year (drum roll please) I will be teaching "Theater Arts" to our 3rd, 4th and 5th graders! ! That means I get to work with over three hundred students during the week! We will be exploring theater games, improvisation, public speaking, oral interpretation of literature and having a ball! Our Public school is located in a vibrant multi-ethnic neighborhood in New York City. Most of my students have been going to our school since kindergarten and they love coming to school. So do I.
