Thank you so much for your generosity in supporting our Lunch Bunch learning sessions! Your kindness has made it possible for my students to enjoy both learning and fun during lunch. They will be beyond excited to dive into these new opportunities, and I am truly grateful for your support in making this happen.

  • Building a Compassionate Community

    Funded Oct 11, 2024

We cannot thank you enough for your generous support of our school supplies program. Thanks to your kindness, we were able to provide essential supplies to 70 students in need, ensuring they have what they need to succeed. I've received heartfelt messages from families, such as one parent who shared, "Thank you so much for your help. My husband has cancer and is not able to work. We appreciate your help."

Your generosity also made a profound impact on our fourth-grade mentor program. Our students actively participated by sorting supplies, filling backpacks, and preparing materials for distribution. This experience not only helped them see the difference they could make but also inspired them to serve their community. One student shared that helping others made them feel good, knowing they were making a positive difference.

Thank you once again for your support. You have made an immeasurable difference in the lives of these students and our community.”

  • Bringing Cheer to Seniors: Creating Cards to Combat Loneliness

    Funded Apr 30, 2024

I would like to express my deepest appreciation for your generous donation to our project. Your contribution truly enhanced the Math Mentor program at our school. This program enables students to foster empathy and compassion and learn acts of kindness through various lessons. Not only do our students engage in helping younger students, but they also participate in community outreach projects.

As a community outreach initiative, the fourth-grade mentors used the art supplies and paper you provided to create spring-themed cards for the TLC Personal Care Home in our community. The Teachers Pay Teachers gift card allowed us to purchase a drawing unit, and the students applied what they learned to design the cards. They collaborated with younger students in our school to create these heartfelt cards.

Your donation made these projects possible. Most importantly, you helped my students learn that acts of kindness and compassion can extend into the community. Thank you for your support.”

  • Kindness Catalysts: Mentors Empowering Positive Change

    Funded Mar 18, 2024

Thank you immensely for your support of our project, "Kindness Catalysts: Mentors Empowering Positive Change". We're thrilled to inform you that the supplies have arrived, and we've already kicked off our kindness campaign by spreading uplifting messages throughout the school. Our fourth-grade mentors have collaborated with first and second graders to craft motivational posters that adorn our halls.

The excitement in the room was palpable as students exclaimed statements like, "Wow!" and "We have new seats!" when they unpacked the supplies purchased through your generous grant. Thanks to your support, we've not only enriched our mentoring program with a dedicated kindness unit but also created a welcoming and enjoyable workspace for our students. No longer do they have to sit on the floor in the hallway; instead, they can engage in collaborative projects comfortably.Your support has also allowed me to offer invaluable leadership opportunities to my fourth graders, shaping them into leaders both now and in the future. Once again, thank you for your unwavering support.”

  • Wild About Learning Financial Literacy!

    Funded Oct 11, 2023

Your generous support has made a significant impact on our students and their families. Thanks to the additional funding provided by the grant, we were able to organize a memorable family event. The theme proved to be immensely popular, with approximately two hundred and fifty students and their families in attendance.

You have my deepest appreciation for helping us bring this event to life. The students were filled with such enthusiasm for the evening that they remained unaware that they were actively engaged in learning. Your contribution has truly made a difference in our community, and I am immensely grateful for your support.”

  • Helping Our Community

    Funded Oct 27, 2023

My students were beyond excited to unpack the boxes of school supplies that were ordered to support our Back to School Bash Program. They eagerly sorted each item and helped stuff the backpacks to be donated to students in need. They especially liked the fancy pencils and the variety of colored highlighters.

As the chairperson of this program, I will ensure that all of the supplies are given to students who need it the most. Every year I worry that we will run out of supplies, but this year I can take a deep breath. Your donation will ensure that every student will get the supplies they need. 83% of students attending my elementary school alone receive a free or reduced lunch. Many families are struggling just to keep food on the table. This program ensures that families do not have to worry about purchasing school supplies for their child and it ensures that all students have the supplies they need to be successful in grades k-12.

Thanks to your donation, we can continue our mission to provide essential resources, assistance, and hope to those who are facing difficult times. Your generosity is not only changing lives but also spreading warmth and hope to our community.

Words cannot describe how grateful I am for your kindness.”

  • Shop With Me! A Real World Learning Center!

    Funded Jan 31, 2016

I am so excited to be able to offer a real-life learning experience to my students due to your generous gift! Your kindness enabled me to set up a "life-like" grocery store for my students to practice counting money, adding, and maintaining a budget. I was also able to differentiate the center for our primary students as well! My students could not wait to get their hands on the shopping carts to shop for items that were of interest to them. They practiced counting by ones, fives, and tens to purchase the items that they purchased. Our cashiers also got to use the cash registers to count out change.

It was so fun to watch my students engage in decision making that leads to higher level thinking. Many of them had to return items and purchase new items to stay within their budget. Their excitement is equivalent to Christmas day! One of my students said,"You mean we get to do math while shopping? Whoa!" This center not only makes learning motivating and fun, but also provides learning opportunities that relate to real life! I thank you for your thoughtfulness and for making learning meaningful and engaging for my students!”

  • Little Bodies, Big Minds!

    Funded Mar 6, 2015

Thank you so much for funding my project "Little Bodies, Big Minds". The students were so excited to see all of the boxes of supplies being delivered to the classroom. Their expressions when we opened the boxes were priceless. Their favorite activity by far is fishing for numbers. I have used this center several times already. Kindergarten had a blast identifying and ordering the numbers on the fish and first grade used the fishing activity to subtract two digit numbers. The centers are so colorful and attractive. They are of very high interest for the students. The most popular digital game is the addition/subtraction Bubble Pop game on the white board. They love trying to beat their record while solving problems within a minute to unlock new levels! Another big hit is the fishy rug...they jump from number to number while identifying and counting on as they go! Without your generous support these activities would not be possible. The students have had so much fun and have been so excited to open and play a new center each day. Thank you for helping me provide high interest lessons to my class. I ensure you that we will continue to learn and grow with each new experience!”

  • A Lunch Date With Learning

    Funded Mar 3, 2015

On behalf of my students and myself I cannot thank you enough for generously donating to my classroom. My students are amazing vibrant students and all they need sometimes is a little extra encouragement and confidence to realize that they can do it. I wish you could have seen their faces as the boxes were delivered to the classroom. It was like Christmas morning as we opened each box and went through the supplies. My students have limited resources, especially when it comes to technology. Because of your generous gift I was able to offer an after school math workshop to fifty third and fourth graders at no cost to the students or the district. The event was titled "Math Game Night" and the students rotated to different rooms to play Math Plinko, Bubble Pop, Math Quiz Game Show, and Money Ski Ball. It was a huge success! In addition, I have been able to offer the "Math Lunch Bunch" tutoring sessions. The students bring their lunches to my classroom and we eat and do math games and centers during their lunch period. Thank you for enabling me to give support to my students who struggle the most. They have so much fun during this period that they don't even realize they are learning. I promise that your thoughtfulness and generous gift will continue to keep on giving. I look forward to continuing these programs for many years to come and without you that would not be possible.”

As a Title I math teacher, I work with students in need of remediation. A lot of my students have learning difficulties or find learning math concepts to be challenging. By 3rd and 4th grade, many of them have quit believing in themselves and have succumbed to becoming passive learners. It is a personal goal of mine to get my students to start finding success and believing in themselves again. My students are vibrant and inquisitive children and learn best through high interest activities, such as hands-on investigations and interactions with manipulatives and games. I love to offer such experiences through lessons that require them to apply what they have learned through investigation and inquiry.
