  • Math Is Fun-Tastic!

    Funded Mar 26, 2025

Thank you so much for your generous donations! We are so excited to put these materials to use! The test prep materials couldn’t come at a better time as we are wrapping up the curriculum and getting ready for our state exams! I know these materials will go a long way in ensuring my students are set up for success!! Thank you again! Without your generosity, this would not be possible!”

    With gratitude,

  • Making Math Meaningful!

    Funded Dec 28, 2024

Your support for my project has made a meaningful impact on my students. They were so excited to learn about the new supplies we would be getting. One of the first items we used was the Two Truths and A Lie book. They absolutely loved the concept of working together to try to determine which of the statements presented were facts and which one was a lie. I have incorporated it into my daily Warm Ups from time to time to get them motivated and excited for the lesson. If we finish a lesson with a few minutes to spare, they eagerly ask me to play the game with them. It has also worked to being some of my students out of their shell. Some of the quiet, reluctant students have found their voice when it comes to being the first to "figure it out".

I have also found that my students enjoy the desk dividers greatly when it comes to some of their independent work. It helps them focus on the work in front of them and not others around the room.

We also had a great time with the coordinate grid sticky notes. The students used them to write their notes for the coordinate plane so they could easily reference them throughout the unit.

Again, without your support, these wonderful things could never have happened. Thank you on behalf of myself and my amazing students!”

    With gratitude,

    Mrs. Storz

  • Making Math Fun Again

    Funded Dec 18, 2023

Thank you for your generous support. Each day I try to think of fun, new ways to engage my students and help make the most out of our lessons. Many of my kids think Math is boring and I try to change that thinking by incorporating new ways of teaching and new ways of demonstrating the standards. This has really helped make class more enjoyable for the students. I have seen tremendous gains from this as well.

Earlier this week, while teaching order of operations, I was able to use the gift cards purchased to buy a murder mystery game on order of operations. Modeled after the game Clue, students were so excited to find out who did it, with what weapon, and what room....the only catch was to figure it out they needed to solve the problems presented correctly. The kids were so into the lesson that they did not want to leave class. This is the type of engagement I want for all of my lessons and it would not have been possible without you! Thank you again for helping me help my students!”

    With gratitude,

    Mrs. Storz

  • It's All Fun and Games.....in Math

    Funded Jul 18, 2023

Thank your for your generous donation! My students and I were so excited to play our first game on the computer that we purchased using your donation. These games help make Math fun again! The students love to play these games and complete the activities purchased as a way to reinforce the skills taught in class.

We plan on finding one activity or game to go along with each major topic that we do this year. It will help my students tremendously because they see it as a fun game and not additional Math practice! Thank you again for your support!”

  • Guided Notes, Escape Rooms, Math Games Galore!

    Funded May 21, 2023

Thank you so much for your generous donation! My students and I are so fortunate for amazing people like you who look to help them succeed!

My students are hardworking kids, some of which really struggle when it comes to Math. Even through their struggles, they keep trying and always push forward. I try to come up with activities that they enjoy because I know it will keep them engaged. It be aimed very difficult to try to find new and exciting ways to motivate them. With that, I started to turn to TPT to help find new and refreshing ideas. Your donation helps make these fun activities possible and we are so thankful for that!”

  • Make Math Fun Again!

    Funded Jan 6, 2023

Thank you so much for your generous donation. The ability to purchase additional resources such as games, differentiated worksheets, and resources to create interactive notebooks is invaluable to my students! They are so excited each time we review concepts taught using games however, being able to create these games is difficult. Now we are able to play them much more as I can use your donation to purchase these resources. My students love escape rooms. They practice the standards addressed in a new, fun way. They love being able to "escape" by answering all the questions.

The interactive notes is also very beneficial to the students. Often times, they struggle when they are home working on their homework independently. These notes, both interactive and printable, give them the ability to look back and have help with their tasks.

Again, we appreciate your donation and look forward to using these resources for years to come.”
