  • Vertical Garden Potting

    Funded Apr 18, 2024

Thank you for your donations! The students are really excited to replant and care for the new plants. This is going to be a great opportunity for my students to care for a living thing outside themselves. I look forward to allowing my students to have the hands on experience of connecting with nature.”

    With gratitude,

    Coach Simms

  • Plant Grow Station Nook

    Funded Jan 24, 2024

Thank you for your generous donations. Students will now have a comfortable grow station where they can grow and care for all plants. They will also learn first hand the life cycle of plants and all of the positive things plants bring to a room like fresh air and an inviting environment.”

    With gratitude,

    Coach Simms

  • Environmental Awareness and Clean Up

    Funded Jan 17, 2024

Thank you for your generous donations. Your support will definitely support our efforts to get out to our communities and clean up liter. The goal is for each student to become ambassadors for their communities and provide knowledge and leadership to have other members join them in the fight to zero waste!”

    With gratitude,

    Coach Simms

  • Environmental Solutions

    Funded Sep 30, 2021

Your contributions to this project have left a huge impact in our students. The students were so excited to use pickers instead of getting close to the trash with gloves. It really motivated them to get out into our school community and clean it up with our new tools.

On top of that the pickers were used for a beach clean up that really opened our students eyes. They were stunned to see how much trash really ends up at the beach. Hours were spent on the beach finding and cleaning up problem areas.”

    With gratitude,

    Coach Simms

After an absence of more than a year due to Covid-19, our students are eager to get back on campus to find solutions to our campus waste diversion system as well as provide information on our environmental impact on campus by collecting waste using the trash pickers, reusable garden waste bags to gathering data in a sustainable way, and gloves to make sure student safety is a priority. This Environmental Management System (EMS) will help with answering key questions to assist in developing an environmental strategy, identify environmental aspects, developing objectives, targets, and measures. Communication, documentation, auditing, and management reviews will also be addressed. Members of the Environmental Awareness elective will grow to be student leaders who teach their peers about the importance of making conscious choices about the environment.
