My students are in 2nd through 5th grade and are struggling readers who need additional support. We work in a small group setting with books on their levels and due to Hurricane Sandy all were destroyed. They attend a school of moderate poverty and truly benefit from the reading services that are provided, but without books it will not have the same impact.
