  • Help Us Put Kinetic Sand Into Our STEAM Fun

    Funded Nov 9, 2017

I would like to thank you very much for your generous donation of the 9 Kinetic Sand sets, the sand trays, the animal and dinosaur figures, the dinosaur skeleton figures, the 2 books, and the math materials for my second grade classroom.

My students and their third grade buddies really enjoyed using the Kinetic Sand! Most of my students had never used it before and they were amazed at the colorful sand choices and how the sand held together. They loved all the great molds that they could use to shape their Kinetic Sand sculptures.

My students also loved hearing the 2 stories and using the animal and dinosaur figures that you donated. They had so much fun playing with and creating scenes to go along with their Kinetic Sand creations.

My students used the rulers to measure their creations and compete with each other to create the tallest or longest sculptures.

I am very thankful for your generosity. Your donation has helped inspire my student's imagination. It has also given them great memories of their time in second grade when they combined art, math, and science with Kinetic Sand to create amazing projects!”

My students are wonderful second graders. Our school is located in a high poverty immigrant community in California. My classroom consists primarily of students who are learning English as a second language. I also mainstream deaf and hard of hearing students and learning disabled students in my all inclusive classroom.
