Sandy Ruined Ipad! Speech Students Need Help!

I cannot even begin to describe how appreciative my students and I are for your generous donations. We use the IPad daily during our speech sessions to help support learning, memory, communication skills, and ensure carryover of goals. My students, some of whom cannot communicate well or express themselves verbally, really enjoy using the IPad to help them express themselves in a variety of settings and experiences. We love to look up pictures and videos of things we are reading about which helps them make connections and increases motivation. Being able to play a variety of games related to what we are learning also helps them remember topics and rewards all their hard work with fun while still addressing their goals and the curriculum. Thank you for providing my classroom with this technology. In addition to meeting a variety of learning styles, my students are increasing their communication skills as well by requesting to use the materials when they feel they need to.
