My students are a very enthusiastic bunch of 5 year olds that live in an area that was devastated when Hurricane Sandy hit. Most homes where destroyed as well as our school. The doors have been shut with no reopening date in our near future. The children have been relocated to an already overpopulated school. My class is currently in a room with over 100 students in total. All of the children's supplies have been lost or damaged due to the storm. I am trying to regain some sense of normalcy for these children while they are in my care.
