My students are a group of motivated young beings interested in math, reading and exploring math needs in various ways. They attend a school that is caring and supportive, but we still have needs. Our school is trying to close the equity gap, by lifting those students whose cultures are not as well represented as the dominant society. There are some students in my class that need additional assistance due to restrictions of learning with autism, ADHD and also face home life challenges. By offering fun independent games and reading options we can keep these students involved.
