Increasing literacy and comprehension is the ground work for all subjects. If a child cannot think, he or she cannot read or write. I am attempting to help students think, not in a sense that I think for them but I simply guide the way in which they go about thinking. Some topics or subjects require a deeper thought process. While other topics or subjects function remotely without deep thought. I want to build literacy and comprehension through guided thinking. The materials that I have requested will work to build literacy and comprehension from thinking deeply about passages and building vocabulary.
