My students are mostly farm kids from Southern Idaho. They are driven and know the meaning of hard work. Many of them are from families with serious financial hardships and have never been able to afford art supplies at home. For a majority of my students, the only time they will ever be able to paint is in my art class. Our school is a rural K-12 school with an emphasis on creating patriotic and active leaders. Character education is important to us and we actively reinforce the ideals presented by our Founding Fathers.
