• New Year, New Supplies

• Light Up Our Day in Pre-K

  Funded Dec 7, 2022

  The light table and manipulatives that came with them have been so engaging and fun for my class. They use it for letter recognition, word building, counting practice, STEAM designs, color mixing and much more. Students are allowed to manipulate the colors , dimness and brightness during their learning centers and they have been put in charge of their learning. This is one of the centers that is highly requested in my class. My students are allowed 1 hour a day to freely explore learning centers. Learning centers are work hidden by play. When students at this age play, they are learning and with this table their "play" has gotten much more engaging.”

• Sensory Day in Pre-k

  Funded Apr 22, 2022

  Thank you so much for your generous donation to our sensory station in our class. When we received our items everyone was so excited and insisted that open the packages immediately. The look and excitement in my students eyes as they waited for their turn to work in the sensory center means that this was the perfect additon to learning. Towards the end of the year most students get tired of the same toys. This light a new fire in them. We used the sensory table outside near our playground area to allow for free exploration and we allowed other classes to use it as well. This is a gift that will be used for years to come.”

Since Covid, we have had to remove so many items from our class and now I am so happy to start again by replacing what we lost. My students will be thrilled when they find out that our class library will be getting an update.”
