The Gift of Reading
Funded Dec 30, 2024On behalf of my students, I want to extend my heartfelt gratitude for your generous donation to our classroom library. Your kindness and support means the world to us, and your contribution will have a lasting impact on my students' learning and growth.
Thanks to your generosity, our library now has greater variety of books that cater to the diverse needs and reading levels of our students. These books will help foster a love for reading, and enhance literacy skills.
Once again, thank you for your generosity and for believing in the potential of our students. Your support is deeply appreciated and we are so grateful to have you as a partner in their education.”

Reading Rockstars
Funded Nov 10, 2022My students thank you for your generosity. The Scholastic News Magazines are a big hit. My students have been enjoying reading them. Each issue, we start with reading the headline news. Then we work on them for homework. The reading has been very engaging and eye opening for my students. This week we are reading about the war in Ukraine from a ten years old's point of view. If it was not for your generosity, my students would not have any access this kind of information.
My students and I thank you from the bottom of our hearts.”

Math Playground!
Funded Nov 30, 2017Dear Donors,
Thank you for your generous donations! My students were excited when they received the all the goodies.
So far they have spent hours playing the math games which helped enhance their math skills. Some of their favorite games are the Math Jenga, Prime Climb and the Building Sets.
Some of my students have a hard time staying seated and engaged. Having the building sets really helped boost their self esteem and kept them motivated.
My students and I thank you your generous contribution.”

This classroom project was brought to life by The Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation and 10 other donors. Please Help Hurricane Sandy Host School. We Need Help Now!
Funded Nov 17, 2012Dear Donors,
Thank you so much for your donations. Most of my students never type their assignments because they do not own printers at home. That has changed since you donated the toner for our classroom printer. Today my students enjoy displaying their essays and other assignments because they know they can use our classroom printer to print their work. This wouldn't have been possible with your your donation.
Our school is located in a high poverty area in NYC. We do not have any school supplies due to budget cut. Many of my students cannot afford to buy notebooks, pens, pencils. Since we have received your donation of notebooks, pens, pencils and coloring supplies, my student's feel more confident and has been enthusiastic about learning. They do not feel ashamed for not able to afford simple school supplies and it is because of your donation.
Because of kind, generous donors like you, my students are able to perform to the best of their ability.”
